Come along and meet the Trust at two community events in January 2026

Money Advice Event – St Albans

Wednesday 28 January  10am – 2pm: Council Chamber, St Albans City & District Council, Civic Centre Building, St Peter’s Street, St Albans, AL1 3LD

All welcome! Residents are invited to drop in and speak to specialist advisers about the financial support and guidance available
locally. A range of organisations will be on hand to provide confidential advice on: budgeting, debt, energy, grants and free items, local support services, benefits and much more. Free refreshments

The Trust will be there to talk with residents about out grants for free items, such as kitchen appliances, furniture, beds, mobility items, glasses and many other items. Do pop by.

Money Advice and Community Support – Batford

Friday 30th January 11am – 2pm: Batford Methodist Church, 102-104 Lower Luton Road, Harpenden AL5 5AH.

All welcome! You will be able to hear about the support we offer, as well as picking up a copy of our Silver Pages Guide for packed with information for older people living within St Albans District. There are free refreshments provided, there will be a cooking and nutrition class and the building is fully accessible. We will be joined by representatives from Citizens Advice, Harpenden Money Advice Centre, Harpenden Library, Computer Friendly, The Harpenden Trust and Harpenden Town Council. This is a drop in event so you can turn up at any time.
